Soldier On was written in partnership with Canadian forces members involved in the Soldier On program. (www.soldieron.ca) When we first began writing for the new record, we wanted to collaborate on a song with a not-for-profit organization that we felt passionate about supporting. The band talked briefly and, with their personal connections to the Canadian Armed Forces, Soldier On was the logical choice.

We reached out and got connected with Joe Kiraly at Soldier On. He really took to the idea, and organized a creative writing program to help create lyrics for the project. Four forces members put pen to paper and out spilled their stories of triumphs and challenges of the every day service life and intense combat duty. What emerged was a glimps into the mind of the modern soldier, the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly.

Arcana Kings took to writing and refining the lyrics and music to reflect the honesty and emotion of the project. In a few months the song and music video for ‘Soldier On’ came to life. The track is heavy and raw, triumphant and valiant. We’re excited to release it to the world as our first single off the upcoming album “Hardwired for Rock n Roll” coming September 2023.

With pride, we officially release our track Soldier On on Victory in Europe Day (WW2) - May 8th.
